About the Project

Pollinators: All the Buzz explored the intricate relationship between plants and the animals that pollinate them. OES created a new, seasonal exhibition experience for the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory that made this connection—not only between those plants and animals, but between the Zoo and Conservatory as well.

Signage installed at key locations near species of significance—both plants and animals—carried the exhibit's key messaging to guests throughout their visit.

From the familiar bumble bee to the exotic and lesser known pollinators such as bats and lemurs, this exhibit provided a format for informal learning about conservation, cultivation, ecology, and human impact.
