About the Project

"Hmong Museum is the first museum dedicated to the preservation and education of Hmong culture, history, experiences, and arts."

OES and project partners collaborated with the Hmong Museum to create a traveling children’s exhibit. Building upon the work and vision of the client exhibit committee group, the OES team further developed the concepts and activities, creating a welcoming and engaging exhibit experience for visitors of all ages.

Changing Times explores the ways Hmong culture has changed over time, diving into facets of tradition like storytelling, weaving, language and sounds, blessings, and communication.

A highlight of this exhibit is the traveling case, which features traditional Hmong instruments alongside videos to complement their sounds and other topics.
