Pollinators: All the Buzz highlights pollinators from all around the world with signage, statues and live bees for visitors to observe in an indoor 2,500 square foot greenhouse garden environment filled with pollinator plants. The wide variety of plants come from the world class Marjorie McNeely Conservatory collection and will showcase the different pollinator syndromes, as well as how different flowers attract their own pollinators.

Mia’s career in the museum industry began at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, IL. Working in the Exhibits Department, she learned the ins and outs of not only exhibition development and production, but also of the intricacies of hosting and touring temporary exhibitions. This work gave her access to anthropologists, scientists, and other specialists in their field, both locally and internationally, and offered a collaborative approach to developing exhibitions. After moving to Minneapolis in 1999, she began her focus on developing exhibitions as an independent business owner, and is a Co-founder of Outhouse Exhibit Services. Her role as Creative Director encompasses exhibit development, design direction, and project management. She is the main Client Contact for all projects.

Paul began his career in construction at an early age, and has more than 35 years’ experience in all aspects of carpentry. His fascination for the natural world led him to a career building exhibits for zoos, museums and other institutions. A co-founder of Outhouse Exhibit Services, Paul is instrumental in implementing all concepts and designs, acts as a stopgap as he manages production deadlines and budgets, and prides himself on creating indestructible one-of-a-kind visitor experiences.
